Producers

REPIC represents producers of household electricals. These producers come in all shapes and sizes
and sell every type of product. You will be surprised how many of our members’ branded electrical
and electronic items you have in your house. Try counting them!

REPIC’s job is to ensure these producers meet their responsible recycling targets, particularly
in relation to meeting the objectives set by the EU under a blanket EU law known as the
WEEE Directive.

One crucial requirement for REPIC’s responsible recycling is the ability to track any WEEE that
is collected and have a record of it being delivered to a registered recycling plant. REPIC has
a sophisticated system and can track and trace WEEE from collection right through to recycling.
